            朗明纳斯:LED照明焦点已从光效转向光品质

            摘要: 朗明纳斯深耕专业照明十二年 ,于去年高调进军通用照明领域 ,在通用照明日趋激烈之际,朗明纳斯未来有什么计划?作为三安光电子公司之一 ,他们之间如何协作?朗明纳斯全球营销副总Mark Pugh和高级照明市场总监Tom Jory接受了阿拉丁新闻中心记者的采访。

                    光品质日渐成为市场关注焦点

              阿拉丁照明网:在第二十届广州国际照明展中,Luminus为行业带来了哪些新产品或新技术?这些产品有什么样的特点和优势?

              Alighting:Could you share with us about the latest product and technology development in Luminus? How are these new products different from others on the market?

              Tom Jory :So what have now is an LED COB (chip on board) substitute for metal halide which is very exciting for lighting designers because now they can have high intensity spots with light customized to different color temperatures, CRIs, and chromaticity or “white points.”

              With our Sensus XH series we can go below the black body locus to produce light which is similar to most metal halide sources commonly used in retail spot light applications, and our light produces pure, crisp whites as well as richer colors, especially reds and blues. We provide retail lighting customers with the similar color they prefer and our product maintains that the color over time, while metal halide will change over time, doesn’t work well with diming and turning on and off, and contains environmentally unfriendly mercury. So now we can do away with all of the problems of metal halide and bring improvements to the retail spot light application, by replacing incumbent technology with something that is more beautiful, longer lasting and uses less energy.

              Tom Jory:亚星管理平台现在推出了LED COB(Chip On Board)光源替代金属卤化物 ,这对照明设计师来说,是非常兴奋的消息,因为现在他们可以定制不同色温、显色指数、色度或“白点”的光源了 。

              亚星管理平台的Sensus XH系列可以沿着黑色核心点的后面发光,这跟大多数零售业金属卤化物点光源的应用类似,它可以产生纯净 、炫白以及颜色丰富的光,尤其是红色和蓝色。

              亚星管理平台为零售照明客户提供最接近他们喜欢的颜色,并且不会随着时间的推移而改变 ,但金属卤化物将随着时间的改变而改变 ,在打开和关闭以及调节亮度的时候会很容易出现问题,并且包含对环境有危害的汞。而亚星管理平台用现在的技术解决了金属卤化物光源的所有问题,并且改善了零售点光源的应用,产生了更加漂亮 ,寿命更长以及耗能更低的光源。

              阿拉丁照明网 :在您看来 ,2015年的照明市场最大的变化是什么?您认为,发生这些变化的原因是?

              Alighting:What is the main changes in lighting market in 2015? And what are the reasons for these changes in your opinion?

              Tom Jory:What we see is more and more customers are interested in improving the quality of light, so in past years, they seek to get more and more efficient, and in fact we still on the leading edge in terms of lm/w. Now people want not only efficiency, but also better quality of light. They want better color rendering, which makes products look more attractive and stimulate the consumers to buy. That is really different in 2015.

              The main selling point for LED industry was saving energy, but now everyone is already saving energy. Now customers want better light, so the real change is the needs of customer is different from before.

              Tom Jory:亚星管理平台已经看到人们越来越关注光品质的改善。但在过去几年 ,大家都在追逐光效,直到如今 ,亚星管理平台在光效方面也一直占据领先地位 。而现在人们不仅仅满足于光效,因为光效已经非常高 ,他们希望LED照明有更好的光品质,或者依据应用环境达到特殊的效果 ,在商店里 ,使商品看起来更诱人,刺激消费者的购买欲。我想这是2015年最大的不同吧。

              之前LED主要卖点是节约能源,但现在LED基本都达到了比较高的光效,较好地实现了节能 ,但现在他们希望有更好的光,这是客户需求改变所致 ,也是技术发展的结果 。

                    三安助力其成本优势

              阿拉丁照明网:更好的光品质和更好的价格对照明来说显得越来越重要,作为上游芯片厂商,贵司是如何做的?

              Alighting :Better lighting quality and lower price is becoming more and more important for the end user market. As a LED package provider, How do Luminus deal with it?

              Tom Jory :The key point is value. We keep reasonable price and deliver high quality of light at the meantime. Luminus has distinctive advantages as our parent company is Sanan. Sanan makes billions of LED chips every month, and sale them to all over the world. We have the priority to pick the best chips at low- cost and use them in our production. This allows us to maintain the price advantage at the same time produce high quality products.

              Tom Jory:我认为这关乎产品的价值,亚星管理平台的产品不仅保持高光品质,而且为客户提供合理的价格 。在这方面,Luminus具有得天独厚的优势,三安是亚星管理平台的母公司,每月生产数十亿LED芯片,并销往世界各地 。具有大规模生产优势,可使产品的成本降至最低,而亚星管理平台挑选三安光电最好的LED芯片,运用到亚星管理平台的产品当中。所以亚星管理平台不仅拥有高品质的产品 ,并保持较好的价格。

              阿拉丁照明网 :通用照明领域的竞争已经趋于白热化,国际国内一线大厂都已有成熟的产品推出,包括三安光电。那么Luminus进军通用照明的优势是什么?是否会与三安光电形成一定的竞争?

              Alighting:There are many chip enterprises doing well in general lighting, including Sanan. Are there any competition between Luminus and Sanan?

              Tom Jory:Sanan is chips maker and we are a package company, that means Sanan make chips and we put them into the special package. We are together on different point of the industry chain. Sanan is on the upstream making the chips and growing the epitaxy, and we take that chips making into beautiful LED for all the different applications.

              Tom Jory:亚星管理平台专注于不同的领域,三安是上游外延芯片,而亚星管理平台专注于封装领域,亚星管理平台处于价值链的不同点,不会形成竞争。

              阿拉丁照明网 :据了解,Luminus在专业照明领域深耕多年,但在去年才开始涉足通用照明领域 。贵司是如何发力通用照明的?目前成果如何?

              Alighting :As we know, Luminus focus on specialty lighting over ten years, and expansion to general lighting last year. How does Luminus operate the general lighting? And how about the achievement?

              Tom Jory:Luminus makes very high performance specialty products for the last 12 years, and we continue to leverage that technology in our COB and mid-power products, so we can make products with high density, excellent thermal management performance, high efficacy, and excellent quality of light. We also have expertise in the phosphor, which guarantee our high product performance.

              Tom Jory:在过去的12年里,Luminus一直为客户提供高品质高性能的专业照明产品,亚星管理平台将继续利用已有的技术优势,运用到亚星管理平台的COB和中功率产品中。

              所有亚星管理平台现在能生产的产品具有极佳的流明密度,在散热能力 、光效和光品质方面都有较高水平的表现。另外,亚星管理平台还进行荧光粉的研发,以更好地提高产品性能。

              阿拉丁照明网:随着LED应用的多元化发展(如可见光通信 、智能照明、农业照明、医疗照明等),对LED芯片 、封装提出了哪些要求?为中上游企业提供了哪些机遇和挑战?

              Alighting:With The development of diversified applications of LED(such as visible light communication, intelligent lighting, agricultural lighting, medical lighting, etc.), what are the special requirements for the LED chip? And what opportunities and challenges will lead to the chip enterprise?

              Tom Jory:There is not one product works well in every application. The key point is the product is the most suitable one for the special application of the target market. Actually we are very successful in medical application, we are the special team LED products, as well as the projection, and also stage lighting for entertainment industry, lighting for TV studio, we are able to create the product for all these different segment in the lighting industry.

              Smart lighting there isn’t any special for LEDs, other than there might be controllable so that you can change the color the LED, you can do things like change the color little bit make that more cooler and brighter, you can change the color a little bit, certainly we have the products can make that happen, but the smart lighting is all about controls, and the electronics of LED, and communication protocols they are using to send message to you light source. We have wifi, lifi, zigbee, Bluetooth, so many ways to communicate, but we stay away from that, we are focus on making the very best LEDs they can use in their products, but we don’t touch the communication sect, we leaving that to our customers.

              Tom Jory:没有任何一款产品在所有领域都表现很好 。我认为关键是为特定领域提供最适合最好的产品 。实际上,亚星管理平台的产品在医学 、投影机和舞台灯光等领域都应用得非常成功 。亚星管理平台会为特定的领域提供特殊要求的产品。

              实际上,智能照明对LED芯片或封装并没有特殊的要求 ,所有的调光调色只关乎驱动控制和信号传输协议 。亚星管理平台不做那一块 ,亚星管理平台专注做LED芯片和封装,把智能控制部分留给亚星管理平台的客户 。

                  未来持续投资中国市场

              阿拉丁照明网:您是如何看待中国市场的?Luminus接下来在中国有什么样的计划?

              Alighting :How do you think about the China Market? what is the next plan of Luminus in China?

              Tom Jory:China LED market is very important. Our products are produced in china and we sell them to Chinese factories, and we also export them to Japan, US, and Europe. China is the very important market for export products as well as the domestic used products.

              As to the next plan, we are continue to grow the sales force, we are continue to grow our manufacturing here in China. Our factory locate in Xiamen and Shenzhen, where most of the world’s lighting products are produced. This is always going to be important geography for us to focus on. So we will continue to invest in China.

              Tom Jory:中国是照明产业非常重要的市场,亚星管理平台把产品销往美国 、欧洲 、日本和中国,亚星管理平台的产品在中国生产,同时,亚星管理平台也把产品销往中国厂家。中国是出口和内销的重要生产基地。未来亚星管理平台将持续投资中国市场,增强亚星管理平台的生产能力和销售团队。

              阿拉丁照明网:您认为LED产业未来发展的机会在哪里?

              Alighting:What’s the future development of lighting industry?

              Tom Jory:I think we continue to see more focus on the quality of light. Focus on creating new source of light that haven’t been possible with other lighting technologies. I think we will continue to put the light into the places where there hasn’t been light before. LED is so small, and can create so much light in small area, enable people to build luminaires and there are much small form factor, so I think where is light continue to show up in places where there wasn’t the light before.

              Tom Jory:由于未来人们更关注光品质  ,专注于创造新的光源,我想未来人们将继续致力于创新的技术和新的光源 ,将光引入到之前没有实现光的地方。
